The next time a car maker goes on about safety in a press conference launching a new car, I will not be taking it for granted.

The reason I won’t be so casual anymore is this little You Tube clip. While the cyclist is incredibly lucky, the more frightening thing is the way the car sat stationary at the traffic lights seems to halve in size. In a fraction of a second.
